Light weekend with Weapons taking the top spot again. Then Conjuring going to be #1 and continue the WB's hot streak.

Horror continues to thrive.

My favorite thing about this WB run is that all of these movies are different and some of them are pure originals. No other studio is doing that right now
almost all of them are good movies. unlike that disney 2019 run of 7 one billion movies. 6 of them no one talks about anymore.

i think one battle after another will break their streak but they'll probably get a best picture out of it from what they're saying

Demon Slayer Reads The Conjuring its Last Rites: Weekend Box Office Results (Sep. 12-14)

A week after The Conjuring: Last Rites had the 4th best opening in September history, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle debuted with $70.6M. That's the 6th best September opening. It's also the best opening for an anime movie. It slaughtered previous record-holder Pokemon: The First Movie's $31M from 1999. In fact, its $11.4M Thursday previews almost passed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba-To the Hashira Training's $11.5M opening from last year. It's already the 22nd highest grossing movie of the year, passing 28 Years Later's entire $70.3M theatrical gross. :whew:

Saw it last night :wow: I have a question. Who were the 2 hirayahu’s willing to protect the kids drawing?

Gave it a 8/10 pacing could have been better but felt like a full season in one movie.

An expected big drop from Demon Slayer, but still good enough to be #1 again this weekend.

Subpar reviews didn't help HIM or Big Bold Beautiful Journey. I thought about checking out HIM, but now will just wait till it hits streaming.

Curious to see how well One Battle After Another does next week.

Because that's what it is. When you look for it you can see clear breaks where an episode would end and the next would start. The most blatant is the 30 minute Akaza flashback that is clearly a fully contained break episode before the finale of the fight.

When this finally airs as a TV show they won't have to spend much money chopping it up, it was created that way.
