False Start on Him; 2nd & 13: Weekend Box Office Results (Sep. 19-21)
OP retired?
Despite suffering a massive 75.5% drop, Demon Slayer - Infinity Castle still topped the charts, grossing $17.3M. After a ten-day run, the film's total earnings stand at $104.7M, making it the highest-grossing anime movie ever domestically.
The movie produced by Jordan Peele but not directed by Him, with a $13.2M opening, came in second place. Despite earning praise for Marlon Wayans' performance, the film did not have a strong opening drive.
At least we'll always have Rich Wigga, Poor Wigga.

The Conjuring: Last Rites had a much more stable third weekend, earning $12.2M and passing $150 million in domestic box office revenue. It's now the 12th biggest movie of the year domestically, displacing Warner Bros.' Weapons (made another $1.2M this weekend) which had previously held the spot with $149.7 million. WB really killing it with their horror output.

But, on the plus side, that $33M opening is the best ever for a documentary, since this was a behind the scenes making of Swift's newest The Life of a Showgirl album.
can't win em all, Dwayne.

. Roofman did anything but blow the roof off with an $8M opening. This shyt screamed straight to streaming to me; it was released by Paramount. Looks like it should have went straight to Paramount Plus. That's a low opening, but it's somehow higher than Blink Twice's $7.3M, which Tatum starred in last year.
