Sunset Overdirve charted in a strong month. And the bundles are not counted in NPD. They were continually sold out so we know the game sold well according to Microsofts own expectations.

The following month, Sony announced TLOU:R sold 1 million copies.

Talking at a press conference in Tokyo, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida, revealed the news stating that both retail sales and digital downloads have been very strong for the game.

After only a month on PS4, The Last of Us Remastered joins a select clique of titles to become 1 million sellers. So far Knack, InFamous: Second Son and Killzone Shadow Fall have made it past the million copies sold mark.

Never said worldwide doesn't count. In reality sales beyond "was it profitable" don't really matter. But in the context of this thread about the physical sales from America, your link about worldwide sales including digital sales was a bit out of place.

Same goes with sunset overdrive and other 3rd party Exclsuives on X1.

Devs/pubs care about profit not NPD lists. The games have been very profitable with easier development than if they were on multiple consoles. It's why Xbox continues to get 3rd party exclusives like Tomb Raider 2015

Tomb raider is a timed exclusive which microsoft handed out huge dollars for.

How many copies did The Last of Us sell though? It was a remake of a multi-million selling game on a new platform. It was obviously gonna sell decent.

If Sunset Overdrive should be compared to something compare it to a PS3 game like say Heavenly Sword that came out early in that generation was was a new IP.

Sega fukked up with bayonetta cutting that deal should of put that shyt on the quad if they wanted to move some units and Insomniac to they should of put that overdrive on the quad. Honestly right now at this stage of the game if third party developers are looking to give a console that exclusivity it should be the quad otherwise put dem bytches on multiplat or feel that flop.

The first Bayonetta flopped on the PS3 because Sony gamers were concerned with American made first person shooters. Nintendo wants quality games on their console that doesn't get undermined/ forgotten on first-person shooters.
