Yo I'm dying. You a wild boyAs someone who was an Atlanta transplant before the city blew up, I got stories for days.
I remember one time we had a pick up game in a popular park on the Northside. It basically attracted people from all over the city, including people of different economic backgrounds.
So your boy plays bully ball on the court. Literally, if I decide to play strong no one is stopping me. It so happened I was bullying the other team all day, and at one point I grab an offensive board over two dudes, with the put back and yelled out "bytch!!!".
That's when one of these scrawny 125lb gangbangers straight up said, "Ain't no bytches out here, I'll make your mama miss you".
It could have gone several ways. I could have acted tough and called his bluff and see what happens. I could have called one of the homes off the strength of the threat and we all probably go to jail. I chose the most mature response which is I apologized and dapped it up with him after the game. Long story short, I def learned to watch my mouth in a casual setting because not everyone is down for the back and forth.

Just like Donny said, we don't crash out over little shyt.
In fact, we don't talk greasy to each other as much as you think.
The vast majority of people in NY are just minding their business.
Rappers do not represent us.

. And just other generally disrespectful shyt about how people talk, and act compared to new york. And thats not even covering the casually telling other men to "suck my dikk" and expecting zero consequence
?

where where where im supposed to go , where my kids going to sleep, you you you can’t do this to us”Trenton nj theme??Atlanta isn't even a True southern city anymore
it's a transplant city with ppl from everywhere in the states
I literally went to a "Trenton, NJ" theme cookout in ATL this past summer with easily close to 500 ppl there
But yall come to other cities and wanna tell nikkas about how they aint fly(while rocking jeans, timbs and a button up). And just other generally disrespectful shyt about how people talk, and act compared to new york.

The Miami Boys were just another group of Southerners though. And to their credit, Atlanta fought back. BMF, wasn’t a hostile “takeover” per se. It was more business savy, big Meech and southwest t having the plug and ingratiating themselves to the city and culture than brute violence.Atlanta is the same city that historically been took over by out of town street nikkas...![]()

Is this not how NYC used to be in the 70s and 80s during the heroine and crack eras? Minus the access to high powered fire arms. I was watching the Curtis sliwa interview where he was talking about NYC in the 70s, and the gang members begin zoooted out of their minds. Killing restaurant managers during robberies. No self control. Parts of the south, are basically similar.I can't speak on ATL; but its also socially acceptable to do all types of hard drugs down south.
those hoods are extremely segregated with no municipal resources.
a lot of them are one way in one way out type shyt.
these guys are zooted with automatics ready to squeeze for the most trivial shyt.
Find it funny sometimes, but i do wish these types of threads and articles had some variation like which region has the most business owners, which has the most inventors, etc.... inikkas flexing about dysfunction in our community part 3737373883838382929292929![]()
