Why is it that the people obsessed with bringing NY hip hop back aren't from NY? NY nikkas are too busy bumping MMG shyt all day to be worried about someone bringing NY back. It's not like we're out here playing these regional NY tracks that nobody has heard of yet. The west will have artists who are big there but not big anywhere else. Even these rappers we mostly like (Action Bronson being a big example), it's not like NY's just out here playing his songs on repeat.

True MMG is not all South shyt.....so I give you that......I listen to A Mafia, and I bump the Prodigy & Alchemist on the regular........maybe NY should embrace its artist and not shyt on them like they always do for the most part....that's the problem in NY.....to many followers and not enough leaders....aint no one assuming what goes on in the NY hip hop scene......but it is lacking tremendously as opposed to the South & West and you cant deny that......
