Went up there for a week before Valentine's.. Day.. Never again..seeing folks crammed into subways like slaves.. Stayed in Harlem and everything smelled like piss.. 5 barbershops on every Street no wonder papoose got cut with his hat on. The. It was like 10 degrees fukk that it ain't worth it.

My Woman stay asking me to go out as well semi-regularly to restaurants and shyt and I'm like nah . I usually need at least one day to decompress inside after dealing with a whole workweek of tolerating a$$holes on the subway and streets and shyt. On the weekends I don't go into the city. I need a break.

My next gig I am asking for at least 1 work-from-home day a week just to relieve some of the stress of commuting. It's getting worse and worse each year less trains and more people.

And many are mid-western CAC transplants that have no manners and are barbaric and invade your personal space. The mexicans are getting brave too and I've had to put some of them in their place with just a look, body language and not saying a word. Sometimes you practically have to look at people like you damn near ready to strangle them for them to snap out of their delusional state and stop rustling all up on you.

There is a large influx of idiots to this city in the past 7 years and if you are a local, you've figured out ways to minimize contact and stress as much as possible by doing things like:

- Entering the front or back ends of the trains (depending on the line) where less people congregate
- Frequenting alternative grocery stores offshoot from main streets where not as many people go
- Utilizing online delivery more heavily such as FreshDirect, Amazon Prime, etc to get groceries and toiletries without having to wait on 30 minute lines in the evening just to get a few things
- Working out at home to avoid gym rats and "personalities"

Also my boy stayed in Newark...bruh there are literally nikkas every fukking where..parked on every part of the streets..can't even stop and roll up did appreciate how you can cop some decent weed from corner stores though. But I feel you Id lose my mind up there. My guy paying 1300 a month and his heat don't even work that well and i got pretty much the same spot with less of odor in the hallways and a better bathroom for 740.

Toronto is a upgraded better non dusty version of Ny. Chicago is almost NY but less dirty as well. No city fellates itself quite as hard as NY does I'll give it that. NY really is just as dated as its hiphop

New York is overrated. People in the Northeast tend to be uptight, pretentious, arrogant and moody, even while on drugs/Rx. Also, poor to middle class people who lived in NYC for 2 generations have crooked, yellowing, or baby teeth, perhaps it's the water. We have food from all over the world...Even our midwestern pizza is better. LOL. You can go to a hood chinese resturant, U got Americanized chinese resturants that caters to whites like Shun Lee or you can go to chinatown and get chinese food the way chinese make it for themselves.


We have Farms, suburbs, citys and gated communities with mansions.



For fukkery we have every drug imaginable. We have the after hour spots and night life and the underground nightlife after hour spots (like that gambling spot in Harlem Nights, those things really do exist here)





also...Anyone who thinks they're being cute at pointing their finger at NYC Hip Hop not being on top like it once was doesnt know anything about the culture. When Afrika Bambaataa was setting up parameters for the culture he envisioned Hip Hop being done all over the world so he embraced when The south took over as well as the asian breakdancers because that was the original vision Afrika Bambaataa had. NYC not being dominant in Hip Hop mainstream like it once was is supposed to be a good thing because it represents growth but those who dont know the culture will say otherwise
