I did 1.5 hours worth of work today. Rest of the day was spent fooling around with my girl, ordering food, and watching Netflix....in basketball shorts.

get with the times grampsObviously not every job can be done remotely. But for the ones that can this is the best option. It can save people money on childcare, travel, and food. It can save you time, help you get more sleep, and a better work life balance. Some of this office space can maybe be eliminated or make more space for housing or any number of other possibilities. This could potentially help save on energy and other resources if you eliminate so of this office space.
I've had some experience working from home but not as long as you. Man just the travel and nearly extra hour of sleep makes you a far superior worker lol.I've worked at home for 7 of the past 10 years now. I love it.
being at home saves me money for fuel, time, and most importantly, I can get all my errands done during the work week, which enables me to be free to do whatever I want almost every weekend.
