It really is a problem.
Some of them be saying that all willy nill and they look like white boys and white girls.

I'd like to tell some of them that that shyt won't fly in other parts of the country and in some areas black folk might beat the shyt out of you or worse if you say that...but I doubt they will go outside of New York.

In fact, the lack of racial awareness some hispanics in NY have is truly troubling.

I knew this PR chick that used to be oblivious to race, then she went to upstate for a weekend or I think it was Mass and had a real terrible experience there.

She went from being a white apologist who thought racism did not exist to "I seriously can't stand white people" real damn quick after that.

Most Hispanic women be questioning what race I am. Like fair skinned black people of non Hispanic descent don't live in NYC or the northeast. :martin:

People who move here from somewhere else and think they NYers. fukk outta here. They aint all hipsters either, some blend in much better but think that gives them the right to fake it till they make it. Nope. If you didn't AT LEAST live here in the subway token era you aint from here, period.

No Parking.

City scheming to make money off of you any way they can.

Stopping for school buses. I never do it.

Potholes.

The cost of newports and dutches. Why am I paying almost 4 dollars for a dutch in some spots :wtf:

Hipsters are fukking annoying, racist, and just absolutely ruining what new york is.

Housing Discrimination is NYC's best kept secret tho...

:patrice:

These landlords REALLY do not want to rent to black people at all...

Aren't you originally from Pittsburgh or something? If I'm mistaking you for someone else, nevermind and disregard.

people who didn't even grow up here but love to talk about what NY "really is" are just as annoying as hipsters. Just being honest. Only celebrities get away with that, and even they shouldn't get that pass.

I don't get why you're mad about downtown Jamaica, wasn't Jamaica it's own town before? There's downtown Flushing too

Love
LOL werd.

I don't see myself living here for the rest of my life. I figure when I'm older I'll find a nice secluded area to enjoy without all the hustle and bustle, but for now?:ehh: I'm digging the vibe.
Meh :yeshrug:
Personally I could not live there (NY) .

Too cold and too over populated. People living on top of each other and paying a ton of money for rent. I'm used to having a lot of space. As we speak I live in a 1850 square foot home all by myself and chilling.
I visit my cousins in NY and the few that do own a house rent pieces of it just to make ends meet. That , my friend is not LIVING.
Sure you make more money in NY but you spend it all on bills. I have classmates of mine who moved there doing same job I am making $30K more yet broke living with a roommate and can't afford simple shyt like trips out the country :scust:

I love the ambiance of NY and the facy that there is always shyt going on . but not affordable for my comfort requirements. To me, unless im making $150K a year I have no business living up there. But that's for me.

1. Driving in NYC might be the worst. So much traffic and time wasted to go across town. The highways are NEVER clear of traffic, unless you driving at 1am or some random time at like 11am during the day
Too much foot traffic here to have a smooth ride. Always gotta stop and be on the lookout for some dumbass to run in front of you, cause he wanna be Usain Bolt and cross the street on a green light :pachaha:

2. The hipster culture is getting to annoying levels
3. Gentrification
4. The common feeling of that rat race mentality. Never have I seen so much people just be satisfied with a part time job at Sears. And they boasting on how many hours they did overtime, and calculating instead of making $300 a week, they made $350 :why:. I remember the days I used to work at retail, mad people would be satisfied with working as the stock boy or cashier at Forever 21 for 15 years, like it was nothing. Not to mention in NYC, having a degree doesn't mean shyt when you're applying for a job. I mean I can't blame them. There's just so much competition of 8 million people applying for the same position, with only about 10 openings. You try hard to get your bachelors and masters, and are relegated to only work in Old Navy and Macys, cause that's the only one that would offer you a job. It's kind of scary. Transplants and Locals all suffer the same fate

I lived in the Midwest and the West coast for a couple years, and it is totally different. Seeing people have great careers, cause there is less competition. Either from a Trade apprenticeship, a corporate job, a financial job, a highly paid city job, doctor, pharmacist, etc. Only a small percentage of people in NYC get to achieve the goals they set for themselves
