Like I said about Gleyber. Gleyber was only being given praise because he was being graded compared to the last 2 years. He's still never gonna be that guy we thought he'd be, and if he was the guy that caused us not to trade for Pablo Lopez, then shame on the Yankees.
ever since the series vs the Astros at the stadium that we split, this team has looked like the teams of the past 4-5 years. im back to my expectations of recent years. probably a loss in the alcs to the stros if we are lucky enough to get by the first round cause right now we could easily lose to the jays, rays, Ms etc in the offs .

I get wanting to improve defensively, but this team has gotten paranoid (or cocky) to the point of thinking they only need 4-5 of their hitters to be on to win games.
A bottom third of Bader/IKF/Higgy is noncompetitive. Throw in Hicks and/or Donaldson and fukk it, give me Gary back.
