Is this an argument for private regulators, who aren’t funded by tax payers and dont require funds to be diverted from other public initiatives/goods?

It can only be private sector hate that has people defending this ridiculous arrangement. Govt. fails tax payers and isn’t culpable because of reasons... and focus is shifted to Boeing.
I cant even grasp the idea that Boeing is more beholden to tax payers than Boeing and deserving of the focus. Elected officials approved the practice of letting Boeing self regulate...
