I got this mkv file that I just downloaded. I converted it to mpg to play on my PS3 with mkv2vob. I don't have any sound though. Is there anything I can do to get sound on this shyt? Or did I get a bad download? I tried playing the file in divx player and windows media player. All my other files have worked fine after converting to mpeg.

Can't help you there, but I'm not bullshytting you breh.... place the PS3 in the bushes and get a cheap (sub $100) media player... between cinavia and just being a bytch to deal with sometimes, I'm so glad I stopped using the PS3 for movies....
I haven't downloaded any movies yet, but it's been gravy for my shows so far... this is my first one.
I'm going to build a PC soon so I'll stream off that more than likely. I have a Roku as well, but that's only in the bedroom, I watch most of my stuff in the mancave or the living room.
Alot of usenet sites have been getting DMCA notices lately.

From my experience any files affected by DCMA either aren't there to download or the file will not repair/extract due to being incomplete.
It plays on the computer without sound.
i just paid them $56 for the 30mbps speed which maxes out my connection. hope this is worth it. either way that's way cheaper than the $11 a month i was paying Astraweb for a year.

I'm guessing the PS3 blocks these shyts anyway, because I get a black screen when I got to play the movies, all of my shows are fine though.
