i remember the days before i had a video card with HDMI out that i used to have to use crap like Tversity and other streaming programs to stream stuff to my TV or watch it on a game console.

honestly those days sucked and since the moment i bought an HDMI out video card and plugged up a 42 inch TV to use as a PC monitor i never looked back. my computer can play any video format thrown its way with out issue. and since a TV is hooked up to the PC there's no issue on how to get the content to a TV,

I haven't had any problems streaming to my consoles/TVs yet.

I didn't even realize the PS3 and 360 streamed mkv files. I was converting stuff and I didn't even need to.

Why am I getting a write or disc full error when I'm trying to download straight to this external?

Does there have to be at least the same amount of space available on the PC that I'm using when downloading straight to an external?

My external wasn't formatted as exFAT, so that's why I couldn't download a file bigger than 4GBs on it. I can't transfer files over to it larger than that either.

As for the app, I'm talking about something that will allow me to search for stuff on my phone and remotely start downloading when I'm not around my computer. I remember somebody mentioning this on here, but I don't recall the app used for it.

What search engine do you use? NZBMatrix?

If so, NZBUnity is aight for it. I used another one but can't remember the name of it.
