I've learned to just not argue about certain things with Napoleon. He doesn't concede anything and it's not like we're asking for anything ridiculous. I just want the youth to be able to get a higher education for free instead of taking on massive amounts of debt. I want my taxes to go to that instead of defense, dude acts like we're fukkin retarded for wanting that. Merica.

Yeah, that shyt would be cool, except NOT EVERYONE deserves to go to college.

Lets stop pretending that its not a tool, when it is. Its not supposed to be a period of fukk off time where you learn about yourself. Your'e supposed to be gaining skills and assets. Investment in things better left as hobbies has fukked entire generations of kids.

You can't fix outrageous loans by offering EVERYONE loans cause then no one has an incentive to ask for less money from the students.

No. Because the fact is FREE higher education is POSSIBLE. In fact, we should be PAYING people to pursue higher education, it's fukking ridiculous. Some things shouldn't be for profit, healthcare and education.

Thats why its called higher education. Stop comparing the US to countries where most people can't even GET to college due to entrance exams or weeding out before 17/18...and places with smaller populations, and fewer universities, etc.

It's not just tuition either, these companies who make these fukking books butt fukk you for 400$ for a new edition and they don't even change shyt.

This is an ENTIRELY different issue and if your solution is government central planning, i'd GLADLY tell you to go fukk yourself.

STEM needs to have better loan agreements and funding than... womens studies and african american studies and political science.

I'd love to go get my Masters in accounting but it's just not worth adding 30k more debt, I'd love to get an astrophysics degree, but no, one degree alone is enough to put you in debt damn near for life. It's absolutely fukking ridiculous and the fact that more people aren't outraged is sad. We will feel the effects of indebting our entire young workforce.

They need to forgive federal loans (at the very least the ones taken since the start of the recession, since the inability to find jobs did send a ton of people back to school) and stop giving them out period unless for graduate school or if the student is going into one of the growing, and higher earning sectors of the economy. Universities won't have any choice but to drastically lower their tuition and fees, which have been steadily rising with federal loans being given out. That would also push students into the STEM fields.

1. Forgiving ALL student debt won't happen and shouldn't happen...yet. It'd tank the economy outright. There are conditions that I'm up for this
2. Student loans are WAY too easy to get across the board.
