Decatur where its greater
Same ones saying he's right will probably be the same ones who are angry at the success of Iggy Azalea :mjlol:

How was the point missed? If Obama is saying that there are no set characteristics/behaviors that make someone black yet people criticize Iggy for "acting black" (or mocking us) then how is @LA Fisher wrong? :ld:
Glad to see others already shut these ridiculous troll-like responses up. Yall really don't get it smh

anyway,

Looked it up found nothing. Links?

Reality is blacks judging other blacks blackness on an ever changing scale, gives outsiders what they think is a right or ability to judge our blackness as well. We pigeonhole ourselves sometimes.

Unfortunately, African American culture is generalized to be Entertainment and Sports, with a side of ratchet. Unless you are of true African descent or have traced your families beginnings, you are essentially starting from scratch. Kind of sucks.

TYRONE GA!
Not a huge Obama fan but he's 100 percent right here

Fuk everyone who thinks you have to act a certain way to be black
Fuk certain rappers for pushing this to

goes back to the core, your home/upbringing.

It's just like this tired ass notion of since you black you supposed to be poor mindset that far too many crabs who haven't done shyt in their lives tell others.

In 1988, The Japanese got reparations for being placed in internment camps in the US during World War 2.

Acting to redress what many Americans now regard as a historic injustice, the Senate today voted overwhelmingly to give $20,000 and an apology to each of the Japanese-Americans who were driven from their homes and sent to internment camps in World War II.

Under the legislation, $500 million would be paid in the year starting next Oct. 1, with $400 million paid the following year, then $200 million, then $100 million in each of the following two years.

The Pres even admitted to Michelle turning into Misheka when she gets turnt up. :banderas:That's my muthafukkin president.

These kids do need to realize though that there's nothing wrong with speaking proper English...or shyt...having a desire to learn something. At what point in our Black culture did learning or speaking properly become associated with "acting white?"

I don't even agree with the idea of speaking properly as something to aspire to in America

I think it's only used to slight less fortunate people
you're 1000% correct. The difference is hard to articulate, but there is a difference.

Kanye in that Zane lowe interview is a great example

Your such an idiot doggy. Thank god I dont read your comments. How much them bricks going for?
Yes, I'm an idiot for not indulging self-pitying clowns like you who relegate our people to the backseat of society with your line of thought. So called Illegal immigrants generally fill low skilled jobs. Why are we concerned with that? Think higher.
