Eh.
How much of that could be directly attributed to Obama versus anyone in his cabinet or policy makers that happened to exist in the same time period.
Smh this thread title is such BS... You should've had it as
"Obama explains what he did for black people on Breakfast Club"
The Coli still trying to stick to this narrative that he didn't do anything.
Cliff notes for people:
- Said he was confident he did a lot for black people cuz he has the statistics to prove it (peep my sig). Prison records dropped, juvenile records dropped, changed sentencing to more reasonable accounts, crime rates dropped, black poverty dropped to it's lowest level. Black businesses and black income rose to it's highest. Black unemployment reached it's lowest. And these numbers rose higher than with any other race.
-Republicans and State Governors blocked him from doing all that he wanted to do with Obamacare. Some governors wouldn't accept funding/medicaid dollars even though it wouldn't cost them a dime cuz they simply just wanted to oppose him.
- He doesn't break the laws like Trump does in order to get things done and knows the constitution.
- Didn't go around advertising everything he did like Trump does cuz he didn't want to make others feel like they weren't getting anything either.
- Says there's no way to change in 8 years what's been created in 200 years.
- Says the presidency is like a relay race and unless the following President's stick to the same policies that are working, it's always gonna be a back and forth in regards to progress.
I see his answer was the numbers his people complied however numbers aint everything you just cant handwave the issues black ppl have been facing as a whole with statstics & analytics our issues are much deeper than that.
Again like @Doobie Doo said Trump went buckwild broke the rules with his reign and was damn near unstoppable passing shyt he wanted and i doubt he will be going to prison after this. We gotta stop with this this when they go low we always go high no matter what bullshyt.
Obama really wanted to say "You nikkas didn't donate enough money to my campaign."
Trump exposed the true power of what a president can really do for his chosen people and unless he gets convicted for any of his shyt out of office then what was the point of Obeezy playing it so straight?
who is propping up Trump?
I swear you house nikkas will be mentioning Trump for the rest of eternity to defend Democrats on every fukking matter
You realize racism was around before Trump? fukking idiot

See?^^ simple negro logic. No ones scared of stepping on cac toes, but look at who he was surrounded by in office. How many influential black senators and other power players were around him that would’ve helped him push reparations? Dem or Repube, they’re all crackers in the end...they still don’t give a shyt about you. Something revolutionary will have to happen in order for reps to happen. Yous a new fool of you think a single mulatto was going to give you that..why are we so worried about stepping on white peoples toes we gotta come off that shyt it makes us look weak
I’m asking for specifics so I could see where they ended up and if they released any post-term information on how things were and how they could have done things differently.thats the same as any president....
with all he has to juggle do you REALLY think a sitting president is sitting in the oval office writing policy?
no he has a team that brings shyt to him.....sure he has an agenda...but the team makes it happen.....
I am sick and tired of this question being asked and always a round and round about what was done and not done, if it was enough, it was enough for some people but others want more, etc. The problem is the goalpost always moves on this convo. There is no benchmark that would satisfy everyone, so there will always be a gripe. One issue is we dont have a consensus of what we want done in general, so we cant focus on those issues to be taken care of and addressed.
To the question at hand, I still dont understand how people ask what HE himself did for black folk as if he makes all the laws by himself. The president is a figurehead (just like in most cities with all this violence going down, the police chief is Black, thats done on purpose to have people say we cant get anything done. Those police chiefs have no power and are put there as the scapegoat) and they still have to go through the House and Senate to have laws passed. Guess who are the people in the House/Senate? Mostly old/white men who arent gonna pass anything for Black people for us to prosper.
So the question is: if any bills that Obama put up for a vote got rejected in the Senate, what is/was he suppose to do? What were you looking for him to do then?
Envy actually the one that askedWho else would have the gall to ask him that question besides the SC boy Charla?
*haven’t watched yet*
