I just want to know how he plans to fund it...

3/4 federal, 1/4 state.

the money is there is just has to be reallocated. me personally i'd rather spend a few billi subsidizing education for those who need it than droning people to death in the middle east.

still, if we're going to QE ourselves to death i'd like underprivileged folks to get a decent shot at an education and a better life. i work in this field so ive seen it a hundred times--a driven, charismatic student with average academic skills will flip an associates degree into a full time job with no debt on the books. it's a beautiful thing bro

i think community colleges now are gonna have to be more selective about who they let in. before it was ok, i got bad grades in high school and got rejected by major universities. let me go to cc for 2 years. If community college is gonna be free, then your high school grades should be good too.
