Acceptance, healthcare, welfare, birthright citizenship for any children had once here, education opportunities, daca programs for children brought here, higher wages, an economic sector its believed Americans wont work, safety etc...

I see nothing about corrupt hiring practices and lack of enforcement of existing lines design to curtail the flow of illegal immigration by hiring them.

I imagine they wouldn't come here and stay if they couldn't work. :jbhmm:

obamacare is a trash product :yeshrug: i respect the effort, but not the final product. that might be hard to reconcile

No it isn't. Especially for single people. They can get a plan that is actually cheaper and better than their work plan. I know here in CT the plans that Anthem Blue Cross offer are pretty good in comparison to most work places.

Win/Win situation for Democrats heading into 2020

1. SCOTUS could vote to preserve ACA as constitutional despite the individual mandate being removed since Republicans in Congress removed the one thing they thought was unconstitutional while ignoring other parts of the ACA bill.

2. If SCOTUS does agree with the judge then Obamacare is dead and millions are left without health insurance. Pottery barn rule concludes Trump and the GOP will own our broken healthcare system and required to fix it since they decided to remove a healthcare law that was approved by most of the country and promised to protect consumers with preexisting conditions.

Nah, that's an overly optimistic assessment of the situation.

The GOP won't have to fix anything, their voters will just blame Obama/Democrats/minorities/immigrants like they always do.

These Republican voters still gonna come out and vote for Trump/GOP in 2020 regardless of whether they lose health insurance.

Well yeah the hardcore Republican Trump supporters will vote for them regardless. You can’t obsess or focus on them.

But at best this allows Dems to drive a narrative. Trump on twitter during the midterms REPEATEDLY stated Republicans will protect Americans with pre-existing conditions. If ACA is struck down by SCOTUS what healthcare law/policy does Trump or Repubs have to protect these pre-existing conditions?

Are you opposed to immigrant labor?:patrice:
My understanding is liberals not only want them to be able to come and work, but for it to be easier and more streamlined...removing the need for corrupt hiring practices and increasing the flow...:dwillhuh:

Also,
What happens to the million already here who wouldnt be able to work?:jbhmm:Do they just pack up and leave?:jbhmm: or do they stay and live outside the law?:jbhmm: Or are you in favor of mass deportation?:jbhmm: Flesh this out for me...

Totally off topic. But I have seen some of the shyt that mods have been allowed to slide on recently.

The question is, after your Charlottesville comments, were you actually stripped of your privileges or did you volunteer that they be removed?

Just curious. :jbhmm:

I stepped down...
The stripped narrative plays better for the forum so I hold/held that "L":yeshrug:

Important to note for people like me who thought we accomplished something.

The ultimate result was the same but a lot of us bought into the lie that we made it happen. It ultimately had nothing to do with us.

Sobering.
