Obama can still fundraise for the party but he hasn’t been able to be an electoral force since… he won re-election in 2012.

I wonder how embarrassed he is. Trump succeeded him in 2017. Then Trump becomes the first POTUS to win a non-consecutive term in over a century after Obama saw his former VP shid the bed and be forced to drop out a year ago.

Biden was dead in the water when he ran the first time as well if I recall correctly. Then Obama formed DNC Voltron to propel him to victory. I don't believe that Obama necessarily thought Biden was great candidate. But the Hilary shyt got to him and Biden losing would be a sort repudiation of the Obama political machine.

It’s hilarious how all of a sudden these posters are agreeing with valid critiques because it came from Obama, but if he was posting on thecoli with the same exact opinion and they didn’t know it was him, they’d be calling him maga :dead:
Same posters
They've probably short-circuited once their prime directives conflicted.
1. Dikk riding Obama
2. Never criticizing the Democrat Party

They'll soon turn on Barry once given the thumbs up. Because the DNC created their programming.

Biden had no money. He barely had staff.

Bernie had real momentum after Nevada. Biden needed Clyburn to generate a big win in South Carolina.

Once Biden had that, that’s when Obama told the others to drop out. The media got behind Biden before Super Tuesday.

I’ll never forget how crazy it was. Biden won states he didn’t even set foot in or have an operation in. It was all earned media and name recognition as the VP to the first black POTUS.

I think Obama will try the same in 2028.

Biden was never dead in the water, because he always had big name recognition as the VP for 8 years, of the most popular democrat of all time. the way we run primaries is stupid; most of the states should just all vote at once, to get an actual picture of the country

and Biden was the right choice in 2020; he won the election for the same reason obama picked him in the first place. the failure was allowing him to run again, which was fukking insane :snoop:

2024 goes SO DIFFERENTLY if the dems have a real, open primary with fresh candidates, contrasted with R's coronating trump again :snoop:

It's not really Obama's fault though. It's just the nature of the country.

At the end of the day all of this MAGA shyt is backlash against a black person being president. That's what it comes down to, not immigration or trans issues.

I still maintain that the Obama admin allowing a foreclosure wave instead of writing down mortgages helped usher in Trump.
