Bruins in 5 - don't think Chicago matches up well with the physicality of Boston.

Bruins aint more physical or bigger than LA and Chicago took em out in 5...

People saying Bruins,i dont see it...they played 3 weaker and flawed teams who either sucked on D or had no goaltending or both...They havent played a good balanced team all around yet...

As i have stated since the first round the physicality and this fake aura of this Bruins toughness is way overrated....

They play a simpleton game that relies on traffic, bounces and luck...they are good in goal and back end...i really think they are overrated tho...and i do think the Hawks forwards will give them alot of problems...

Enough with the false bravado by everyone you all know this series is a toss up. My homerism is making me pick the Bruins in 7 but Chicago winning wouldn't surprise me at all.

Hawks have clearly been the best team since day 1 this season but you wanna call it false bravado?

Anyone shytting on Kane for that celebration? I could only imagine what the :merchant: would say if it was PK or a Russian.

What celebration? What was he suppose to do, dude just scored the goal to take us back to the Final in OT, pulling off a Hat Trick in game 7 while doing it.

I don't know how you can call the Bruins overrated when just about everyone picked them to lose against the Penguins.

Penguins forwards >> Hawks forwards

And :heh: at Rangers having no goaltending:russ:

I said this from the beginning, there is no clear favourite in the east.
Pens werent a clear favourite over anyone and Bruins winning that series is not an upset...Pens had massive flaws on D and in goal and everyone knew that...

Bruins are overrated from the standpoint that now everyone is riding there greatness wagon, they toughest team to play against, they so gritty and etc etc,its non sense...They beat nobody to get to the cup...They play a very beatable style...Im not sold on Rask he hasnt really been tested since the 1st round...They rely on dump and chase, forcing loose pucks down low and cycling back to the point for screended shots and rebounds...its a game of luck and bounes they play...I just dont watch them and see greatness.

Rangers are a bad team with a decent netminder and that being said Lundqvist to me is also very overrated as he has never won in the playoffs and lets in alot of bad goals this time of year...

You have quick forwards who are physical and a decent D and goalie you can easily shut this Bruins team down...1st round damn near showed how wack they can be....

Hawks beat a better team in the conf final with a better goaltender...No reason they cant do the same to Boston...

No doubt the Hawks can win. But you're severely underestimating the Bruins and reasoning in a negative light why they beat the teams they beat.

You're right that there is no perfect team, but the Penguins were picked by a lot of experts to come out of the east and to win the cup. They were as healthy as they can be. It's not that it was their D or goaltendding that was the issue against the Bruins. It was the way the Bruins neutralized their offense playing trap hockey that was impressive. Game 1 was closer than the score and game 3 and 4 could have gone either way. But the Bruins won because those games were played in the way they like to play their games.

Trap hockey has won the cup far more than a free-flowing offensive team. Defensive teams are allowed to grab and clutch. Keep that in mind.
