Using the Bears as an example to showcase that QBs are just another position is comical. It only took having the goat defense, and the goat RB to get a title without a elite QB
thats still more titles than many teams with elite qbs have had. sure, hall of fame qbs like brady and arod do matter, but guess what, so do other hall of famer positions. mike singletary and ray lewis mattered. if you dont have a hof qb and dont have a great defense, you're done. whereas, if you have a great defense and an average qb, you are a contender.
You're the one going to extremes here acting like QB doesn't have more importance than any other single position on the field. It doesn't need a retort, you just look straight up foolish
you must be new to football talk around here ? Im not going to any extremes. Ive had thousands of posts on here talking about how qb is an extremely overrated position that is perpetually glorified by the media and the league itself. qb should be treated just like any other non-ST position in football. football is a team game of 22 players.
Mike Glennon is about to be paid how much? but let's act like QB's are just another position, OK
thats the problem of someone who employs mike glennon. QBs getting paid insane money is exactly the reason why teams should build around defenses. You can get like two elite defensive players for the price of above average qb. but qb thirst is fukking with peoples minds. teams gave up near whole damn drafts for RGIII and Carson Wentz
