If the Saints sign Butler without making a deal with the Patriots it would be the 11th overall pick, since Butler is a RFA. Peyton and Belichick are friends though so like you said this is likely part 2 of a handshake deal.

Yeah the 11th pick has already been shot down. I think the deal is all but done, Saints have asked certain players to re-structure.
