I agree...I'll probably vote Warren in the primary, but if I had to put money on it I'd still give odds to Biden at this point. The rest of the vote will be pretty split.
That said, Trump needs to go regardless so I'm calling out anybody talking that "If x doesn't win the primary I'm staying home" bullshyt.

To be honest this is largely because progressive/young voters don't vote enough. Situation won't change as long as older white voters outvote everybody else.

I think the problem is I'm looking at this from an even bigger picture perspective than you are. I don't mean that as a diss.
So I understand all the info there, yes black people are more likely to borrow and default. Yes canceling debt will benefit black people.
Equally canceling the debt increases the buying power of white America more because they simply have more total debt. Now as the economy adjusts, the money the black families save in debt payments is worth less as all costs rise due to everyone having more money. Often white America can survive with student loan payments and own homes but now have additional money to invest or purchase investment properties, where black people are now able to afford rent or finally afford a home. Sure technically everyone benefits, but it's like giving a universal 10% tax break. People with larger incomes save more, which increases their overall worth at a faster rate.
Not that it's feasible, but leaving student debt alone and making 2 year college free for black people (as a wild example) would actually have a bigger impact imo than just broadly canceling student loan debt for all.
a lot of these posters are out of touch. You can tell they haven't been around the mid to late 20's crowd, even early 30's crowd of Black folks that are in no position to set themselves up for the future with a house because they are crippled with student loan debt. But hey, some whites are going to benefit so lets just forget about it.

Bold ideas excite people. Democratic voters need to be electrified to come out to the polls, they're not like Republicans who vote consistently no matter what.
