And cats need to stop with the Native American nonsense. It’s a common thing for American families to believe they had Native blood due to older family members lying to their kids. White Americans didn’t want to admit to having black ancestors. Blacks didn’t want to think about white people raping theirs. Thus the mythological Native American relative was created. I went my whole life thinking I was 1/8th Native and I have the features to justify it....my grand mom was supposedly half native and my great grandmom was supposedly born on a reservation. I spent 29 years believing this only for 23&Me to say nah you 3% Native and 19% Cac I would’ve been on tv making a fool of myself too once the real test was released.

It was a bad political move. I think Bernie might have decided to run again once she dropped that test

The movement is to believe the woman. Which is fine but if Bernie actually said this then she should have came out with it a long time ago instead of waiting until she dropped in the polls. Maybe it was that script that set it off but then it doesn't make sense how her campaign wanted to tone down the attacks. She was also begging her supporters to stop calling Bernie sexist.

Regardless any personal conversation without witnesses is impossible for any of us to know what was said. There's evidence of Bernie character making this seem wrong but Warren is adament on what happened. There's no way any side here will win an argument so either we can move or keep discussing who's a snake or liar.

Being an attorney I listened to the wordplay from Bernie and it was clever. Bernie said he clearly believes a woman can be president GENERALLY. Liz said Bernie said he didn’t think a woman can win the 2020 election meaning beat Trump. Go back and listen to Bernie denying something that wasn’t asked. I believe Bernie definitely said he didn’t think a woman could beat Trump in this atmosphere. Especially based on context clues: Liz’s reaction to Bernie while he initially made the “denial”; plus the fact that Bernie reached out for a handshake (I wouldn’t try to make amends with someone who I know is actively lying on me) and Liz was like fukk your handshake.

I was but I said yesterday and I think Benjamin Dixon basically outlined it on his podcast, that type of lying ass sneaky shyt doesn’t fly with me. I thought these two were going to be smart enough to not beef so that there are two progressives on stage all election instead of one having to deal with all the heat. The way CNN acted towards Bernie is what would happen if there were no other progressives at every debate. They shielded each other. Warren’s team fukked it up and that shyt it unforgivable.

Right, so I'm not disagreeing with you. My personal opinion aligns with yours here plus I am more of a Bernie supporter. However, at the end of the day there's gonna be no winners deciding who said what in a personal conversation. The politics of it and Warren moving toward personal attacks is fair game to me but I just don't think we're gonna get anywhere figuring out who's telling the truth.

If you follow 23&Me forums and subreddits its a common trend of people swearing up and down they were Native only to be 1% If you’re not from Central America, South America, or the Caribbean, you’re not gonna be Native in large quantities and 9 times out 10, your “Native American relative” was really a mixed black person.
