I don’t even know what this supposed to prove. I thought I was Native American until 2018. Am I a liar too

My dad is 67 year old man who thought he was quarter Native his whole life. I busted his bubble last year...was he a liar

All my aunts and uncles. My grandmom was a 89 year old woman who went to her grave thinking she was Native. Was she a liar

If you frequented all the testing forums and community groups you know this was a common scenario with Americans as everyone swears they’re Native when they just had mulatto ancestors instead but you Coli nikkas love talking out of your ass. You brought up her age when genome testing didn’t become cheap, convenient, accessible and widely available until 5-7 years ago. Wasn’t no one testing their lineage in large amounts in the 80s, 90s, 2000s or even the early 2010s. 23&Me started in 2007. Again. Moot point. I don’t get the tribe comment either. Every Mexican walking through America likely has 50% or more Native heritage with many having direct ancestry to tribes from California, Arizona, Texas and other Southwest American regions. How many of them you think are recognized and have official tribe status

Warren was born and raised in Oklahoma which has one of the largest NA populations in the country. Andrew Johnson forced Natives to relocate there during the Trail of Tears. Can easily buy her family believing the Indian fairy tale. And as you just said, she’s a Harvard educated woman. Why would an Ivy League graduate lie about something so publicly and go into public office knowing every ounce of her background will be searched with a finetooth comb and that her lies can easily be disproved and exposed. Common sense would tell you she wouldn’t embarrass herself like that

I think she had to know on some level that she was mostly white and shouldn’t be telling people she was Native when she was mostly something else but I don’t buy her purposely concocting a lie and creating a false reality. No one in their right mind would do that and run for office. Her family likely told her they had Native blood like every family in America tells their kids and she went overboard with it. Nothing more. Nothing less.
