well duh...because most dems aren't progressiveMy problem with that and Democrats in general is that they will back down quick from everything. Usually it's because they don't believe in progressive ideas they're pretending to push but also because if there is any push back they fold.
If you back off of M4A in primary, then you back down some more in general and then when you get into the office Pelosi and them will completely strip it and you'll end up with ACA.
Republicans wield power, Democrats don't.
USMCA is another example of it. Warren was on the debate stage saying "yeah I'm for it because it's an incremental improvement, it's not much better but I'm gonna change it, but I'm still voting for it"
When you're running for President you got to make people excited, run with shyt that you want in the perfect world.
You say "We're going to Mars". So then when you end up on the Moon you're good. But if you're running on, "we'll go back to the space station" your ass will end up with a broken rocket at Cape Canaveral.
i don't believe that at all, you come to the table with the plan you believe in and one you can execute...you're not going to tell a 100 million people they have no choice in where they get medical coverage, M4A is not happening in the four years someone is guaranteed if they win
to the red...do yall get a "progressive talking points" worksheet...god i'm tired of these redundant space fillers
just because some of yall get excited by ideals doesn't mean others aren't excited by realism. i'm much more excited by a candidate who is realistically trying to change something, not some pipe dream ideal state that won't or can't happen in their tenure, and not some "hey, we actually don't have anything we need to change" person either. i accept that most of what people run on won't be accomplished, so i get excited by folks who keep it real and present something that could be accomplished...pipe dreams and the "proletariat overrunning the oligarchs" rhetoric doesn't move me
thousands of years of recorded history let's me know that's not happeninglastly, people get excited by the dumbest of things from who they want to have a beer with to the best social media game to ambiguous inspirational speeches...policies aren't always part of that. so when we talk excitement...it's not some one-size fits all, i'm continually astonished so many posters here never try to look beyond themselves and what floats their boat. there are people genuinely excited by pete, while the promises of bernie fall flat...wake up, it's a big wide world out there

stop posting this nonsense, this is exactly how trump's going to win stupid ass conspiracy pundits like this

Ok.
