wow I'll tell all my business. I wasn't a federal contract officer but I worked in Budget.

To be a actual Federal contract worker requires education, knowledge and skill.

The lady I worked with was a 14. She's probably laid off since we worked in the budget office where we administrated payments to vendors (her job) and I paid staff ,

The reason for the rigorous training for contract officers is ease of corruption. When I was there the GSA Travel scandal erupted and |I was the travel guy for my division Travel cheating is small potatoes. The kickbacks especially with crypto....

Sure you can get caught but with morale being what it must be you could just cut them in.

There's a scandal in the Colombian Army right now over people fixing some of their helocopters during a war. You think nikkas won't take bribes especially when they see donnie and Holman do it you're crazy.

nikkas gonna be housing mad shyt. I remember the major meetings over giving key staff Iphones over Black Berries. It was a bug deal giving me an Iphone. I remember asking why the boss didn't get out of jury duty since we needed him and they acted like a suggested murder.

All of these people were FBA I'll bet the whole culture is changing now.

Yep everyone who wants to work and avoid office politics will do this. Again no one wants to admit to fukkery but everyone knows about those three hour lunches that nikkas took when the bosses where at capitol hill or something.

The rot comes from the top...but the middle...and the bottom.

It happens in everything (I see a level of this in corporate, but the dollars are bigger and the deeds are worse imo), but I always found it depressing that it happened in government.

And don't let the Military Guys start talking...

My personal failing is that I like to see things work properly. The world just doesn't agree with me.

I was a fed for a hot minute and I got out. I worked in corporate before that and I ran to the recruiters office after 9/11 to escape corporate bullshyt but because it was easy to fire that kept some of the bullshyt to a minimum.
and the military?? I got stories for days but no one wants to talk about the massive fukkery.

donnie don't know it but he helped out DC's FBA community tremendously

This is the part that really messes with me. I honestly don't even know how to process it.
The short version of what I'm saying is back in the day you had less educated people working for the government. Those people were encouraged to increase their skill sets or leave now that the federal jobs are less secure they wlll attract more underperformers.

Not saying FBA's are underperformers but if you live in DC and went to DC public schools you could easily get an easy federal job.

These are things they've had handshake agreements on with Supreme Court justices, from years of events and late night cigar/drink sessions. They know they're going to win these cases before they start the fight.

I think the only way forward is for fed workers to just walk out in mass. You can shut air travel down indefinitely. Do it.

This is what I was talking about the Air traffic controllers defenitely because they're hard to replace so they essentially can't be fired.
