I don't see how it can go on farther than the time they need the federal Budget guys back to pay people.I can’t believe people are estimating this goes on until next November when we get to vote on Midterms.
It really can happen which is crazy.
The official .gov site is crazy, giving the statistics and numbers of the damage this thing is doing AND blaming Democrats for it when it’s really Republicans/MAGA doing it:

everybody's situation is different
but I now know that i made the right move leaving the VA for the IRS
- there's more job security
- we're (many are exempt) still getting paid
- our union hasn't been totally gutted
if you have years under your belt...and not totally decrepit,
it's one of the better agencies to be, even if not perfect

I always find it ridiculous and hypocritical how Trump and the GOP despise the Federal Government when they are, in fact, the Federal Government themselves

Just to confirm the money for SNAP benefits are there, the republicans are choosing to starve people in an attempt to basically destroy the ACA
They are literally trying to kill ppl off.
Halting SNAP, underfunded hospitals in rural areas, ACA being gutted/premiums increasing. People aren’t going to have food and they will be expected to pay $2000/month for insurance.
They want to kill off who they consider the “weakest” in this country. Poor whites included

Additionally, many people you see online don’t even live in America nor are American citizens.
Some are kids trying to be “edgy”.
No doubt some are definitely American and hateful not downplaying that at all.
Some are straight up dumb.

This tells me that the republicans are coming to terms with the fact they aren't winning the messaging war on this. If the judge doesn't let them cut SNAP benefits they wont have anything left to threaten Democrats with and Thanksgiving is coming. If this shutdown is still going on by then the republicans might never recover.
