I was looking at all the numbers, bookie odds, advanced metrics, reading all the blogs to see where Michigan could have a slight edge.

Everything was saying toss up. Only thing Arizona didn’t do was shoot 3’s. They make em when they shoot em but they don’t shoot em.

I guess that was the difference in the first 5 minutes, Michigan came out shooting and Arizona couldn’t keep up.


Also Mckenney is a legit top 20 recruit who shoots 55% from 2 and 40% from 3 and because he was like the 2nd guy off the bench for much of the year he kinda got hidden till tourney time. He is going to be a star:

The threes were a huge difference. When Michigan was up 21, the had 12 made compared to just 6 for Arizona. That's 18 pts difference right there

The scary part is this Hurley team wasn't really supposed to be here this season. It looked like it'd be a so-so season. He's the best coach in the nation. I give my UConn guys the edge on Monday.

Arizona had a great season. All season it was Michigan, Arizona and Duke as the best. Uconn, Houston and Florida were behind them. My philosophy is that season's end how they begin. The best teams made it to the region final, sans Florida.

Shooting stats also drop in these stadiums..they don't increase, so if Arizona doesn't shoot them throughout the season, they won't start making them in a big stadium...back drop and depth perception is a real thing..

I dont think anyone paid more than $20M for their roster besides UK who flopped, but your point remains. Also, you still need a HC. Can't sell Dusty short...he took a roster of randos to the S16 last year in his first season
