You think fred van vleet, ron baker would have stayed 4 years at wichita ? Steph 3 years at davidson, mccollum 4 years at lehigh? If you're good at a mid major a p4 school throws big money at you and poof.

I like advanced analytics and the top 4 teams are on a different planet from everyone else then the top 10 teams are far and away better than the next 15. So upsets are gonna be hard to come by. Some of these unknown white boys are getting hot like usual but it’s not mattering.

And every mid major in this tourney that had a freshman or soph that looked good is going to get plucked.

Yeah at the college level. When he’s not able to outmuscle everyone shyt will change.

What should be done?

I wouldn't mind the soccer (futbol) model where compensation would be given. Example player a is leaving for michigan for 5 mill, there is also a fee of like 25% to that school you are taking the player from and that the school has to spend it on NIL. So you're a small school your nil budget is like 500k, your star player you developed is gone but suddenly now you have a extra 1.25 to also get some quality players.
