One call that I absolutely hate in college hoops that I see a lot is the delay of game after a basket is made and the team that makes it slaps the ball back towards out of bounds. Not that it's the wrong call, but they don't call it when the team makes the basket and the player picks it up and throws it to the red. Makes absolutely no sense because that delays the game more and allows the team to set up their defense

College players love passing up good shots for bad shots.

It's the worst thing about college hoops. And it's all because of some dumb philosophy by college coaches who don't want shots taken early in the shot clock. That's why Alabama games are so fun to watch because if they are open, they are letting it fly
