In all seriousness, Peterson doesn't look like a primary option right now. His handle is weird. He's herky jerky in a way I don't think I've seen before. He finds ways to create separation and get to his spots but I don't know if it'll work against NBA level defenders on a regular basis. His playmaking needs a lot of work. So many games with one or zero assists.
He was engaged defensively today. Made a ton of plays on that end of the floor.
I wanna say he looks like a more talented Klay Thompson.

I've gone back and forth on the two of them all year. DP plays so effortlessly that I'm starting to think he doesn't even care. Rn, I'd take AJ too, need your guard to be much more of a playmaker. 0 assists in the biggest game of the year ain't cutting it

the foul strategy is one thing, but what kind of matador dumbass defense was kansas playing on that last possession. guy gets the ball halfcourt middle of the floor and the first wing defender on the side he drives has his back turned so hes in no position to help and the deepest kansas defender follows a st johns player who was initially under the basket beyond the 3 pt line and makes no attempt to cut off the drive whatsoever. then both kansas defenders follow the same guy and ended up leaving the guy in the corner wide ass open too.
I wouldn't say Klay Thompson. I'd say smarter Cam Thomas.
