@Gil Scott-Heroin what's your NBA projection for Peterson?

I see a guy who will score very effectively in NBA space...but give you not much else. Just not seeing the intangibles. Type of dude who averages 25ppg+ in his prime but doesn't really elevate a team and only succeeds if he plays on an otherwise stacked team that needs a guy who can just score the hell out of the ball. Probably makes 2-3 all star teams but doesn't have a sterling career based on where he will be selected in the draft.

Projection - that guy.

He has a ton of intangibles, more than arguably anyone in his class.

KU's setup was just terrible to showcase his ability. They had him playing off the ball far too much because nobody else on the team can shoot, which then restricted the space he had to operate in and his rhythm when he did get on the ball because defenses didn't respect any of his teammates in the halfcourt. It didn't help his teammates looked him off often too.

It's why his offense consisted of him being forced into taking contested shots more often than not.

Once he gets into the league with NBA spacing and is allowed to handle the ball, folks will see what the hype is all about.
