I am not going to hold you Jason Kidd sort of makes sense. We were just saying we needed someone to help Brunson evolve as a playmaker at the PG position. He’s helped him develop before. He’s gone to the conference finals and finals. He’s known for doing a lot of lineup experiments during the season. To the point he will lose a regular season game to see how a lineup does under heavy minutes. Plus low-key Nico not telling him they was going to trade Luka was some bullshyt.

Flagg, AD, and Kyrie probably not making the playoffs since the west getting tougher.

The Rockets came out and immediately said Ime wasn’t available…. The Mavs haven’t

I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on Kidd’s Mavs tenure but usually in these situations i try and gauge what the fans of those teams think and its not the greatest endorsement.

Every fanbase hates their coach. :mjlol:

I do remember Kidd teams in the past were vulnerable to corner threes too.

This is what they was saying when he got them to the finals last year

Knicks played “clutch hoops” and Thibs had the best winning % on challenges in the league this season. I guess he wasn’t tactical out coaching Bickerstaff and championship coach Mazzula :russ:

Mitch would probably benefit the most from Kidd actually… again, I’m not inspired but whatever. Probably the biggest pro for Kidd is he wouldn’t mind the pressure. “Finals or bust” is a lot to put on a first time coach. Regardless if that mandate doesn’t coming from the front office or not.

He might be feeling a bit guilty for stunting on Thibs. Like he had his bench laughing at the first defensive play he broke down. He spent the entire series exposing Thibs and maybe he thought the front office wouldnt react.

Depending on who they get next will likely be told to beat him and he knows it.

Get real bro best believe Rick has supreme respect for Thibs. Rick gets the bigger picture, firing Thibs because he played Josh Hart too much in year 3 of the process :snoop:

Not really relevant but some context if we do start hearing more Kidd rumors

Leon probably got tired of Thibs not playing his draft picks. And he wasn't gonna let another season pass where 3 more rookie deal kids didn't get burn

Do they punt on Wright/Shamet/Precious and slide the kids into those slots?

Rick sounds guiltier than anything. He did what he was supposed to do but he also cost Thibs his job.
U shouldn’t be fired for losing in the ECF especially when said franchise hasn’t done that in 25 years

The Pacers could have fired Rick after last season he lost in the ECF :mjlol: and when he got there they were well under .500 for a few years

Pacers the definition of a team trusting the process that organizational stability is probably why they keep whipping our ass in different decades :mjlol:

These fans here are on some win now mode

As we can see ECF wasn’t enough

So rookies getting significant time is out of the question
