U shouldn’t be fired for losing in the ECF especially when said franchise hasn’t done that in 25 years

The Pacers could have fired Rick after last season he lost in the ECF :mjlol: and when he got there they were well under .500 for a few years

Pacers the definition of a team trusting the process that organizational stability is probably why they keep whipping our ass in different decades :mjlol:
Rick didnt get out coached and also didnt lose his locker room.

You still haven't said what Thibs did well this season

50 wins. Two All NBA players. Won two playoff series. Defeated the defending champs in the playoffs

Managed the rotation pretty well without Mitch
Managed the rotation pretty well without Precious
Managed the rotation without Brunson/McBride/Payne at the same time pretty well

Yes, they didn't beat any of the 60 win teams in the regular season. But he clearly made up for that by making the Conference Finals.

Highest win % on challenges in the league and outcoached Bickerstaff and Mazzula who made glaring errors like Hack-a-Shaq’ing in the wrong moments and burning challenges early in the game.

Knicks literally trailed the Celtics the whole series , biggest lead they had is when they went up 9 in game 6

Down double digits every game of the series until game 6.

They were not on Boston’s level the Celtics choked cuz they kept jacking 3’s and missing them , they shot 11% below their season average in games 1-2 and were STILL up 20 .even down 3-1 I think they woulda won

He might be feeling a bit guilty for stunting on Thibs. Like he had his bench laughing at the first defensive play he broke down. He spent the entire series exposing Thibs and maybe he thought the front office wouldnt react.

Depending on who they get next will likely be told to beat him and he knows it.
Meh. Carlisle can be a dikk in these instances. I’ll never forget all the shyt he said we fired Fizdale.

I don’t think our situations are the same.

You don't feel my response was an accurate answer to the question

The Pacers beat hurt teams in the first two rounds. Does it matter how they won or that they won?

Im just saying thibs shouldn’t get credit for that series win

Of course the Knicks won but it was more about Boston blowin it ,then their best player got injured

You cannot be down double digits in 5 out of 6 games in a playoff series and say you were better ,that’s lack of execution for Boston
