The idea of the Thibs getting fired after the franchise's most successful season in 25 years is laughable

]At the very least he will get next year
Yea, it's fukking insane.

If we get swept, I'm still riding with our coach. I'm still riding with Brunson. I'm still riding with KAT.

I don't give a fukk about nikkas talking about Knicks fans being bad because they celebrate. There are people born after 1973 and died already that never experienced a championship. fukk I look like suppressing my excitement to "polite claps" outside of MSG. fukk any nikka that thinks that.

This might be the closest we get in my life time - I'm celebrating every win. And as long as nikkas aren't being vandals nor hurting anyone... let them climb billboards and do sidetalk videos. And it's why I celebrated every fukking win during the seasons nikkas wanted to intentionally tank.

Remember: Most of us are fans, not shareholders. To the few of you that are Leon Rose's or Dolan's cousins or whatever fukk you are... more power to you being so disappointed that you are already getting on the phone ready to blow the team up. You'll make employee of the month.

I've been having fun changing thread titles in the middle of 20 win seasons because the journey, itself, of hopium and deluded excitement is what makes this shyt entertainment. (Definitely done after this season, though. Not doing season threads anymore.)

-----------------------

I feel terrible that we are losing like this... the worst part? The doom and gloom fans and the bytch ass doubters who act like what we accomplished in the playoffs so far is nothing.

Anyway, Knicks in 6.

Josh Hart should be playing in China or Taiwan next season. Get him the f*ck out of here.

Also, it's funny how all season most of us were worried about the Celtics and Cavs. Only for it to end up being f*cking Indiana.
he is useful 15 mins of the bench. but he doesn't match up well in this series and it shows.

Of those three options (Thibs, KAT, and Brunson) I think KAT has to go if shyt doesn’t turn around.

That is including how low-key it feels like everyone is looking at him like he is the problem.

Respect.

But, I already made the mistake of talking about moving Mitch in the off-season during the Pistons series.

And then he balled out for us and became one of our most important players.

I'll wait until after the season is done to talk about the front office response.

I'm delusional enough to think if we win one in Indy we're winning the series.
Knicks would have to win 2 games in Indiana & the rest of out home games. 5-1 on the road, 3-5 at MSG.

Series is done, and it's because I have ZERO confidence in Thomas making the necessary adjustments. He's hasn't done it all season, I highly doubt he does it now.

No I definitely gave out a caveat this is based on if things don’t change. I hope they do to, but if they don’t I stand on my statement.

Nembhard in the PS: 53% (!) 3PT on 4.1 attempts

:wtf:
That bootleg Prince-lookin ass mothafukka annoys the shyt outta me in the playoffs.

I watch his style of play in every series and say, “he shouldn’t be doing this!”
:bryan:

I tried my best to be emotionless last night and for the rest of the series after that soul-snatching shyt on Wednesday, but I simply cannot help myself. It’s crazy.

Listen if Thibs gets fired it is what it is but there’s no coach in the league that can hide the defensive imbalance that both Brunson and KAT causes.

KAT has had two torn meniscus surgeries, is flat footed, slow and fouls too much to be a rim protector. There’s no coach that can fix that. Minnesota realized this before they traded for Gobert and KAT hasn’t improved since. Nothing personal against KAT but he’s just a rich mans Nikola Vucvic with a Sazon flair.

Brunson on the other hand is just too small. He can’t offer deterrence to anybody over 6’4 due to his lack of speed and height but he at least makes up for it by taking charges and being the team leader.

These two defensively cannot co-exist defensively if we want to a championship. I don’t think any coaching change fixes that.
