Damn, this is abysmal :francis:

The numbers, the eye test, tv analysts, former players, beat writers, fans all know what the issue is, but Thomas' stubbornness won’t allow him to make the obvious adjustment.

This team is so close, but coaching is really holding us back from maximum potential.

You'd agree with what part? I'm saying myself that we got outplayed. You don't have to get blown out to be outplayed tbh.
that game two was a result of shell shock from game one. We didn’t roll over. We still fought them tough. We just didn’t have enough coaching and personnel to overcome them.

That bootleg Prince-lookin ass mothafukka annoys the shyt outta me in the playoffs.

I watch his style of play in every series and say, “he shouldn’t be doing this!”
:bryan:

I tried my best to be emotionless last night and for the rest of the series after that soul-snatching shyt on Wednesday, but I simply cannot help myself. It’s crazy.
:pachaha:
We’re a bipolar fanbase. :manny:

Anyway, my adjustment would be to start Mitch over Josh, add Precious to the rotation, swap Delon for Cam and stagger Brunson and KAT as much as humanly possible. Pull KAT after 4 minutes for Josh then handcuff him to Precious when you bring him back in. The two rotations that need to see the most time together are
JB/MM/MB/OG/MR and play through Brunson.
MM/MB/JH/PA/KT and play through a Kat and Bridges two man game.

You know what...I'm going out ignorant as fukk on my last Knicks Season thread.

fukk the curse.
F.A.C.T.O.I.D.

shyt is a part of the experience. Either you strong enough to deal with heartbreak or you can't be a fan of the franchise. Simple as that.

Listen if Thibs gets fired it is what it is but there’s no coach in the league that can hide the defensive imbalance that both Brunson and KAT causes.

KAT has had two torn meniscus surgeries, is flat footed, slow and fouls too much to be a rim protector. There’s no coach that can fix that. Minnesota realized this before they traded for Gobert and KAT hasn’t improved since. Nothing personal against KAT but he’s just a rich mans Nikola Vucvic with a Sazon flair.

Brunson on the other hand is just too small. He can’t offer deterrence to anybody over 6’4 due to his lack of speed and height but he at least makes up for it by taking charges and being the team leader.

These two defensively cannot co-exist defensively if we want to a championship. I don’t think any coaching change fixes that.
KAT played the best defense of his pro career last season on the #1 defense in the league. Much of the fixes would come with a healthy Mitch, but that feels like only an idea that we see in spurts.

I just got to say this again KAT and Brunson individually can be hid. They can’t both be hid. Brunson last year wasn’t a good defender either, but he could lead a defender to help. How is he going to do that when the helper is KAT? Same goes from switching. You can try and hide someone on switching by saying stay on your man or Brunson hedging for someone else to take his place. You can do that if the other person is also not a good defender.

when KAT and D'Lo were together, their defense sucked. When they got Conley, everything changed with KAT defensively. I think they really believed Bridges would mitigate some of Brunson's shortcomings but anyone who watched him in Brooklyn knew Bridges wasn't as good as advertised defensively.
