Yes, this was the Knicks best season in 25 years and that's great.

However, as things currently stand making the ECF will be the Knicks ceiling for the next few years.

Some Knicks fans will be fine with that because the team has largely sucked for most of the last 25 years but for me personally I'm not fine with that. I don't want to wait until I'm 50 or older for the Knicks to have a title-contending team.

Unfortunately, the Knicks don't have the capital to make the necessary changes to upgrade the roster (wasted it on the Bridges trade). Unless KAT and/or Bridges get traded, then it seems like the Knicks are stuck as they are.

*sigh* :francis:

The only saving grace is the East is gonna be awful next year and wide open with Tatum out

Someone on KFTV said Hart plays like a missile with no coordinates.:bryan:
How many times did my guy run to the paint with a bunch of defenders, pick up his dribble and throw the ball away?:snoop:
I know they were joking but Jalen was telling the truth about Josh just running with the ball and tossing B.S passes.

A lot was revealed in this 1:21 second video

Just dawned on me if we had the salary to keep IHart we most likely would have made it to the Finals. :francis:

Team would have never needed to make the KAT trade.

Of course. IHart leaving started the whole thing. If we can resign him we can basically bring back last year's playoffs team plus Bridges. OR we can trade Randle for someone else.

I personally wanted to see a healthy Randle with that squad. And I've never been a KAT fan. That being said he had a good season despite obvious flaws and cant lie he convinced me. But part of me still thinks that the combination of IHart and DiVo brings more to the table than KAT, when you factor in flow of the offense, offensive rebounding, and defense. And that's without even considering whether we keep Randle or still trade him.

But hey, can't go back in time :yeshrug:

I agree. There was three things that led to the KAT trade

IHart got paid by OKC, Randle said he wanted a max extension the FO didn’t want to give him, and Mitch was out so we didn’t have a center anyway.

KAT also wasn’t brought here like Mikal was either where I think part of Brunson taking less was to play with his boys.

I keep hearing trade/get rid of Hart but he's not the the problem. He's a role player & 6 man that's been pushed into a starting role when he shouldn't be by a stubborn dumb ass coach. He's a 20mins per game type player. This series was completely winnable & we dropped the ball; or let me edit that, Thibs dropped the ball. He needs to be fired for this.

He didn't play the bench enough during the regular season, he stuck with a starting lineup that clearly wasn't working as the analytics show, Deuce McBride CLEARLY needed to play way more mins than he was given, he didn't play Mitch nearly enough who should've been closing games in the 4th quarter. All of these things could've made a difference
