Hilarious. Kidd is just as iso heavy as Thibs and also plays short rotations

He’s MORE iso heavy than Thibs. The Knicks were 11th in isolation last season. He experiments more with line-ups but doesn’t play young guys either. His team was also among the worst in the league in challenges. Thibs was first and with a high volume of challenges.

The FO's decision making for the most part has been on point. I have no doubt whomever they choose for it, will be the right decision

Knicks fans are dumb or don’t watch other teams and use zero context numbers to bolster fruitless arguments in defense of a coach who has flamed out the same way he did in 2 other destinations.
Saying Kidd leads the league in isolations while he coached a team that employed 2 of the greatest isolation players the game has ever seen is a either a willful blindspot or you just watch the game and don’t know what’s going on. It’s a difference when you run iso and remove half measure players like Josh hart and precious achiuwa. Kid ran ISOs with 4 spacers on the court or 3 spacers and a lob threat. He didn’t force feed non spacing/non centers to sabotage spacing in attempts to “rebound”. When they lost Luka they ran all types of off ball action to get Klay going, used AD as initiator with inverted screens from guards. Kidd ironically is a better defensive coach than thibs especially in a playoff context. Rather have him go through a plethora of lineups and different defenses over a course of a 82 game season than whatever the fukk thibs did then the ultimately try to fix out of desperation in a conference finals.
In short, yal nikkas are fukking crazy.
