I don't think Fif understands friendship. He did take care of his crew but, I really think that was about control and manipulation....keeping nikkas in line and dependent on him. He says now that he wanted Banks/Buck/Yayo to stop coming to him for help but, if he really REALLY wanted that, then he wouldn't have been so insecure with Game. I guess he wanted nikkas being self-sufficient. He just didn't want them being hotter than him For example, I find alot at fault with Jay-Z but, Kanye West became a superstar in his own right between 2003-2005. Jay didn't throw him no shade, he let Kanye spread his wings. And for a time, Jay rode Kanye's stardom to remain relevant. A nikka like Fif is threatened by that.

he's referencing the actual point where he felt banks started to give up and not pursue his own career aggressively enough..and he felt that had to do w/ banks pops passing away...he also referenced how kanye went into overdrive after his moms passed


and then the harsh realities came thru when he said he s basically so used to people dyin that in essence he couldnt relate to stopping your grind because of a loved ones death

50 did put them on and fed them. He got them out the hood and all. Once Game started getting a buzz on his own and his debut was building up (which 50 did help out with) that jealousy started kicking in. 50 didn't want his artists to make their own decisions. He wanted them to fight his battles. And maybe banks and yayo got comfortable with how things went. Hell they probably wanted to work with nas and jada etc. But they like this nygga feeding me so Ima do what he say and fight his battles even though I might disagree. Eventually 50 cut them off. Some people have no heart. Even Nas had to take a short break when his moms died and dropped one of his best albums "God's Son." Some people lust for fame and money overtake love and people wonder why their career and/or sanity is out of whack.

Fifty had no parents. Father unknown. Mother killed. Hood version of Harry Potter. Nikka don't know what it means to have that kind of emotional attachment. Kanye probably tripped out for real when his moms died. Its cruel that all those years his mom was alive when they were in Chicago living average, and then a year or two after Kanye becomes rich and can give her everything, his mom dies
