I remember when 50 mocked everyone in the business over sales, now the reality is, he is about to experience the least sales of his career. And if you put out material that is hollow like "Don't Worry About it" the hip hop audience is going to know your heart isn't in it.

These overinflated and unverifiable "worldwide numbers" have to stop already, all people point to is Wikipedia, but they reference generic articles for those numbers. If we believe that then we could also admit that Jay Z has sold 75 million records worldwide as well right?

That's more than triple 50's career "worldwide" numbers. As far as I can tell from a reputable source such as RIAA, GRODT is at 6x and Massacre is at 5x, that's not even enough to put 50 in the top 10 selling hip hop artists according to this column written last year:

I dont think jigga even denies this... jigga is on his real professional stylo... he is not going to beef with 50 for 'rep' or to 'swing swords'. Jigga has been 'that dude' in rap many many times for short stints... there is almost always someone 'bigger' than him, he knows how to get out their way, maintain his number 2 status and then resurge when the number 1 dude falls off... if you think about it... Jigga came out -> Biggie and Pac was running it...Nas was running it... Next phase DMX was running it... Next Phase Nelly was running it... Next Phase 50 Cent was running it... One could add Ja Rule and Kanye to that list... and its not like jigga didnt have his runs, dude is like the defacto running it guy who falls back everytime someone elses peak comes in...

He could only make his own hits- it wasn't a situation where anything associated with him was hot by proxy- wasn't nobody out there buying Ali or Murphy Lee's shyt. When you runnin' shyt, everything linked to you gets hot. That's Biggie, that's Dre/Snoop, that's Em, that's 50, that's Jay. Some of the others you named were just having a real hot year or two. And when those years passed, shyt went down fast. I'd take a Jay-like career over a 50-like career any day. Cause 50 has had to eat crow and do some of the same things he used to clown nikkas for when he was on top... that's gotta be a humbling experience.

Banks only did 1.5 USA and barely sold shyt outside North America. He himself said he did 2 mill WW. And yayo doesn't even have a gold plaque from the riaa. Foh 900k

What I'm also saying is... Nelly sold a shytload of records and nobody cared about Ali. Ja Rule was on fire for two years and nobody wanted to hear a Black Child record.

So in that respect, 50 gets one up on Jay... HOWEVER... this went on for about 3 years. And when it was time to come back down from the top, he went all the way down the ladder. Now, he's in a situation where he has essentially turned into the same shyt he used to poke fun at. Jay goin' on almost 20 years and none of that shyt appears to be happening.
