AllHipHop News) 50 Cent was on Sirius XM’s Town Hall series giving brutally honest perspectives on his G-Unit past. During the interview, 50 Cent explained why a new G-Unit album has not happened, why he believes Tony Yayo will never change and how all the old G-Unit members are all the same to him.
G-Unit have not released an album together since 2008′s T.O.S (Terminate. On. Sight). According to 50, that is a result of the other members of G-Unit rightfully wanting to pursue their solo careers independent of the domineering presence that is 50 Cent:

You have to understand, their entire career they’ve been standing next to me on stage and not being the actual focus. That’s the way it first started. 50 Cent project and then you going to stand there until I say we going to sell your project. Okay, we going to sell yours now.

50 Cent also brushed off Tony Yayo’s comments on his personal Instagram in late February about quitting the music industry due to “too many b*tch as* n**as” wanting him to “brown nose all the time”:

I’ve seen [Yayo] say ‘sorry’ more than anything else in our conversations. His sorry don’t mean sorry. His sorry mean ‘nah man…chill ’till next time. That’s what he means, because he’s going to do it over and over. I love him. I grew up with him.

When asked about the early members of G-Unit, 50 simply said “Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are the same person to me.”

50 Cent’s full Sirius XM Town Hall interview will be available on Sirius XM radio station and website on March 31st.

50 thought he was gonna have a Jay-Z type of career longevity wise...but he flamed out and ended up having a Nelly/DMX type career...it's unfortunate for him, but poetic for everybody else for all the sh!t he talked and all the fukkboy moves he pulled...he just seems delusional and a little bit pathetic still pretending like Jay-Z is his somebody he can play off or "compete" with currently...those days are over, nobody cares how many touchdowns you scored in high school Al Bundy...let it go

This right here

Jay's career>>>> Curly's, easily

Worrying about the next man appears to be the only way 50 can get anybody attention these days :flabbynsick:

Threat wasn't "MILES" ahead of Heat lyrically :what:

Them first 8 bars though:whew: But Heat felt more real, because of 50's background. What gave Jay Z the right to make a song like that, that deep into his career:usure:

That's your opinion, but Jay Z was clearly riding that Gangsta rap wave.

I don't know what made Jay make that song but neither do you. Threat is lyrically the better song and its not even close (to me).

I'm not sure one song means that he's "riding a wave" especially when it was supposed to be his last album. So did he ride the wave or was he forced into retirement? It certainly can't be both.

Yeah it's a coincidence that Hov made a song about killing nikkas during the peak of 50's career.. when that was all 50 and G-Unit use to rap about:comeon:

This is why he retired: "50 Cent is coming":dwillhuh:

It does make a lot of sense. If Ether never happened Jay might have felt comfortable enough to get at 50 and compete directly but since he would be coming off a loss and 50 a win (against Ja) it was too risky. By the time Jay came out of "retirement," G Unit was crumbling, 50 had fallen from mega-superstar to just rap star, a major move away from 50s style of music was occurring, and Jay had taken the time away from the Booth to craft a new persona, myth and legacy around himself. If there ever was a need for a direct engagement he would be ready. Of course, it didn't happen and here we are today.....

He said he DIDN'T WANT TO

When 50 asked him to do it.

And that came straight out of Hov's Decoded book

Which I paid for
:camby:
don't recall reading that..and either way that was hovs 7th album..and the 2nd album from the hottest rapper at the time..albeit a group album. and hov was still #1 anyway..

this whole thread is stupid. 50 had that song on guess whose back..only ppl in NY knew who he was at that time.. nationally he was still a nobody. whats next he's gonna say he worked with nas first on that tape too and then hov did black republicans 4 years later?

:camby:

and for all the touting 50 does on his sales he only has 2 #1 albums. even ross over twice that (though total #s is a different story)
