They're meant to be getting a soak test on the Motorola x like the N5 previews that dropped sometime ago. Not the full final update. There's no confirmation of that anywhere.

I've been reading articles via the Verge and Android Authority over the past week and they've been saying that Motorola and possibly LG (with the LG G3) will be releasing Lollipop before Google.

I've been waiting patiently but here is an article that came out today stating that the Moto G will be getting it before the Google release:

Yep, but its still all hearsay. I dont see a problem with the Moto G or LG getting lollipop a few days before the N5. With the way google puts out updates anyways, it'll probably get a staggered release and reach some of us by the end of the month.:yeshrug: That's my expectation at this point.

Wen ahead and ordered a Xperia Z3 Compact off Sony's site. Not gonna deal with the whole Nexus buying frustration for a phone I'm not too hyped about. Just can't get with a phablet

Get ready for something sweet! AndroidTM 5.0, Lollipop is officially here for some of our Motorola devices!

We’ve started to roll out Lollipop in phases just a week after the public release of the software to the following devices in the US:

  • Moto X (2nd Gen.) Pure Edition
  • Moto G (2nd Gen.) US GSM
  • Moto G (2nd Gen.) Global GSM retail versions sold in the US

Google should be ashamed of themselves, Moto rolling it out for 3 devices already:ohhh::whew:

Meanwhile Nexus users are like:beli::birdman:
