It's gonna balance out anyways.

I know people who bills are like 90 a month

My bill is like 65 and I copped the S6 and if you do the math it balances out anyways

Plus no contract :blessed:
It does. 40 dollar access fee on a contract. Times 24 is 960. Add the upgrade fee and the upfront costs that's 1220. On Verizon 6gb or higher or Att 10gb or higher , u get a 25 dollar discount from that access fee on edge/next. Making it 15. 15x24=360. Add that to the 600 vez or 700 Att full price for the phone, its cheaper.

Yes. 2 lines unlimited everything. No throttle on data. Plus 5gb hotspot per line. Pair that with 2 iPhone 6 or s6 you get 154 or 158 plus tax. Comparable plans with Verizon will be 154 with 6gbs or 184 with Att 10gb.

Google search now helps you find your lost Android phone
Need to find a vanilla frosting recipe? Google it. Need to find out how many Yankees are in the hall of fame? Google it. Need to find your Android phone? Google it?

Yep.

Google recently brought parts of the Android Device Manager to Google search. When you're signed in to the same Google account on your phone and PC, all you have to do is type "find my phone" into Google and your top result will be a live Google Map with the locations of your Android devices.

The new feature only allows you to call your phone. You can't use the Google search result to wipe your device or lock it like you can inside Android Device Manager.

The impact on you at home: For those times when you're pulling up couch cushions desperately trying to find your smartphone or tablet, the new feature will come in handy. Officially, you can only find your device in Google on a PC. But if you need to use your tablet to find your phone (or vice versa), you can use Chrome for Android's Request desktop site option to the get new search feature to work on your mobile device.

How it works
Although it sounds easy enough, using Google search to find your phone isn't quite as simple as typing in a query and waiting for the top result (although it's close).

As with ADM, you need to sign in again for security purposes the first time you search for "find my phone." Once that's done, Google search will reveal the locations of your Android devices.

The location map includes a drop-down menu in the top right corner to choose which of your Android devices you'd like to find. Once you've asked Google to find the location of your phone, you'll see a notification on your phone or tablet letting you know Android Device Manager requested its location.

Google's search feature is pretty smart too. It will work if you type in "find my phone" or "find my tablet." "My phone is lost" worked, too. More specific searches like "find my Nexus 5" didn't bring up the new feature.

The new search feature is live now on Google.com, but your Android devices also need the latest version of the Google app before "find my phone" will work.

Google Play Services Causing Severe Wakelock Issues On Cyanogen OS 12 And CM12, Patch Coming Next Week
A number of users, like our own fearless leader Artem, have noticed battery life on the newly released Cyanogen OS 12 isn't as good as it ought to be. In some instances, the device never goes into deep sleep because of what appears to be a Google Play Services wakelock. It turns out this is caused by a quirk of the stock Android update service that wasn't accounted for in some Lollipop ROMs.

The bug stems from the OTA update component of Google Play Services (SystemUpdateService), which was disabled in KitKat and earlier versions of Cyanogen. As of Android 5.0, the solution of just disabling Google's OTA system won't work. The update services acquires a wakelock to check for updates (which it didn't do before), but since SystemUpdateService is disabled, it never finishes the check and the device stays awake. This is simply the way Lollipop operates on Play Services 7.x, so any device/ROM could be affected if SystemUpdateService is disabled in the same way.

As for Cyanogen OS, there's an update coming probably next week to alleviate this issue. The change has also been merged into the CM12 stable branch today. The fix involves turning SystemUpdateService back on, but locking down any receivers for it. The update service checks for the OTA, fails, and shuts down properly. Any other ROMs with this problem will have to wait for those dev teams to issue a patch. There's also a modded Play Services package on XDA that can be flashed to rectify the wakelocks. That might serve as a good interim solution until things are fixed.
