They dont know any better. Dont people have instagram or KIK messenger for photos. MMS is annoying. If it worked over WIFI then it would be

I don't get how it's hard for RBK to understand that any messaging app that is dependent on the internet will never be superior to the stock messaging apps.
Everybody doesn't have a great signal everywhere they go that can rely on the internet to get them ALL their messages instantly.
MMS/SMS is dumb in 2013. SMS will be killed this year. Apple imessage, facebook messenger, and google future merging of messenging app will kill that garbage. Im saying MMS should work over WIFI and only data. Carriers are raping people charging for texting. I use kik for all my messenging it work just like sms and is better

try to use SMS/MMS when airplane mode is turned on.
sms/ms= relying on carrier.
try this put your phone in airplane mode then turn on wifi then use GTALK

You are so far removed from the real world. Techies != Regular folk.... they want their shyt to work out of the box as quickly and as effortlessly as possibly... And all of these 3rd party apps requires the app to be installed by both parties... The one thing that everyone has in common is a phone number and that hardly fails.

How many of your friends have a smartphone?? I doubt your friends dont use 3rd party apps. MMS is dead because instagram, Twitter and facebook exist. Like i said imessage is a step in the right direction. Those idiots are paying carriers 20$ a month for unlimited texting. Most people have kik or whats app or Gtalk or imessage. 3rd party app is big you know.

less bezel and more screen. I though it was dumb until I tried out the Droid DNA. It fit great in the hand. The Note 2 sold 10 million so far so people like big screens. My nexus 4 is the sweet spot. Some OEM will make the 5 inch phone uncomfortable
