I'm not paying a dime for any app which is why I've been with Apple, no one told me you could get free apps on the droid.
I don't feel comfortable downloading any APK file outside the play store though, can someone school me on the method of purchasing and than backing up.

copped an s3 little while ago, now just copped a nex 4, see whats that about.

regardless these android devices aint touching the iphone 5, iphone will always be my primary, cop androids on the side to play with when im bored.

I think that's only allowed on 4.2. There's no standard option when I check settings. I'm on a note 2.

I have a Note 2, it has lock screen controls. I use it daily. We have been through this already.

I am not 100%, but I think this is the process.

1. Download the app from the playstore. You have 15 mins to get a refund.

2. Use Titanium backup to backup the app.

3. Go to the playstore and click on refund.

I don't think you will be able to get any future updates.

We went through this and came to no conclusion. I'm using Google Music right now and no lock screen widget. I see your phone is rooted...are you using a specific rom or 3rd party app?

edit: I think it only shows up with a password. I need to charge my phone to 80% to add the password. Ill see if that's the trick.

How do you see my phone is rooted? Because it isn't. I'm on stock using google music. There are no setting breh, mine just appears when I am on my lockscreen. Try taking the app out of focus(make sure music is still playing) and then going to the lock screen and see if it shows up. If it still doesn't then YOU have some sort of software preventing it from doing so.

Its on the pulldown when you aren't using some sort of security which is why the lock screen controls don't show up.
