4.3 is almost here

samsung-540x484.jpg

The screenshot of the platform in the ‘About phone’ page clearly shows that a test build was being run, as well as the identity of the Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505G) device. Rumors are rife that the new Android version should be out next month, which is not too much of a wait. If Samsung was trying it out, does it mean that HTC too has access to version 4.3? Softpedia would like us to belive so, since HTC has its own Google Edition HTC One and would like to keep everything streamlined for future updates.

According to the screenshots provided by SamMobile, , the Android version is 4.3 and the build number is “JWR66N.S005.130625“. The prefix “JWR66N,” is the Android build number, while the suffix “S005.130625″ is what Samsung has added to keep a track for the internal tests that it is conducting. Early access to the software only means that we get quick software updates and less Android fragmentation.

If we trace back the rumors of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, then the trail leads us to the time when it was rumored to have been spotted on a new Nexus tablet, presumed to be the refreshed Nexus 7. The new versions of HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 will ship running Android 4.2.2, dating back several months, so a next-gen version is very much due. Hopefully Android fans will not have to wait longer

Might want to invest in a tempered glass screen protector after repair

Im buying it off someone who broke their phone.

What do you think is a good price to buy a s4 off someone who just broke their glass and plan on buyin a new one. I asked this person what they're gonna do with their old phone and the persons like

*ima let my kid play with it*

I did the come up shuffle. How much should i take for this phone all things considered. Phone has a big ass crack in the middle and at the bottom corner.

In terms of under-the-hood changes, we're seeing android.hardware.bluetooth_le listed as a feature in the Android System Info app, suggesting Bluetooth Low Energy support is on-board in Android 4.3, as previously reported. (This feature isn't listed on our Google edition GS4 review unit running Android 4.2.2). Similarly, Bluetooth tethering is present in the 4.3 ROM, while it's absent on our 4.2.2-based GS4 GE review unit. And we're seeing new developer options in the 4.3 ROM, including all-new options under "Monitoring > Profile GPU Rendering," as seen in this Google I/O video.

maybe you can buy a cheap tablet and trade them for it. 150 and under since its for the kid. I think the samsung or kindle is cheap enough. You should also imply that the glass could splinter more and cut them.

Id offer them 100 and see what they say then go from there. I see the glass kits are cheap but you may have to replace the part under the glass also(forgot the name of it)

Id probably push the tablet trade first, call some local repair place or call this spot to factor in your total price
