The fukk?

Anyway, I like the phone. I would cop for my girl right now if it were cheaper off contract and the Moto Maker thing was available for TMob. Can't believe only ATT has access to that right now. That was extremely dumb on Moto's part... even if they were paid off
Money Talk! AT&T cut the big checks. One bloatware app. How is a phone that last 24 hours a disappointment and the fastest phone on the market dafuk

HTC Releases Android 4.3 Kernel Source And Framework Files For One Google Play Edition, OTA Update To 4.3 Can't Be Far Off

While we haven't heard much on the Android 4.3 update news front for the One or Galaxy S4 GPE other than "soon," it sounds like soon really may mean soon. HTC just released the Android 4.3-based kernel source and framework files for the One GPE on HTCdev.

The corresponding software version for the source and framework is 3.06.1700.10, while the kernel version remains unchanged at 3.4.10. You can download the kernel right here, and the framework files here.

Galaxy Note 3 Launch Reported for September 4, Along With a Samsung Smartwatch

According to recent reports out of Korea, Samsung will look to launch the newest member of the Note line, the Galaxy Note 3, on September 4. That date is just a couple of days before Berlin’s IFA event, which is when Samsung has announced the last two renditions of the Note smartphone lineup. The Note 3 should excite anyone looking to upgrade, as the device is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 800 processor, a very large 1080p display, a 13MP back-facing camera and plenty of Sammy’s software enhancements.

Google Play Edition smartphones start receiving Android 4.3 Mobile
By Jon Fingas posted Aug 2nd 2013 8:45PM 1

If you were wondering just how long it would take the Google Play Editions of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S 4 to get Android 4.3, we can now tell you: not long at all. Owners of both devices report that they're receiving over-the-air updates to the new OS. There isn't yet word of any GPE-specific additions, but we'll let you know if there are surprises in store.

Update: AnandTech has noticed a few GPE-specific changes. Most home screen icons appear larger, infrared now works on the HTC One, and Bluetooth-based internet tethering is now an option for the Galaxy S 4.

Vine updates Android app with push notifications and more sharing options Mobile

It's the freakin' weekend, baby, and Vine has an app update for its most loyal Android users. (Actually, any Android user that has access to v4.0 or higher.) Semantics aside, the outfit's app has just been updated with push notifications and more sharing options... or so says its Twitter account. The Google Play link is still showing a prior description, but we're guessing the new build will percolate through momentarily.

Update: The refreshed version has arrived on Google Play, and mentions the sharing enhancements include the ability to share any public post to Twitter or Facebook.

Frequently lose your phone? Yeah, join the club. Don't worry, Google's got a fix. Android Device Manager will be available later this month for phones with 2.2 or later, letting you ring your phone at maximum volume when you can't find it, even if the handset has been silenced. Should that fail, you can also locate the thing on a Google Map in real-time -- and there's also a plan C. When you're all out of other options, you can securely erase all of your data from afar, so your Angry Birdsscores don't wind up in the wrong hands.
