When is NOTE 5 dropping?

Rumors say September, which seems accurate. Most likely October/November to avoid clashing with Apple's iPhone 6S

Really though, I remember hearing before HTC showed the M9 that that all glass front with the Boomsound slits mock up that was floating around might've originally been the M9 but HTC couldn't afford to mass produce it.

Didn't think much of it at the time but with them reusing the same design 3 years in a row and unable to put a QHD screen in their main phone but can do it for one that wont leave China, it looks sorta plausible.

Edit - Here it is

If the M9 came out to that concept I would have lost my mind :mjcry:

Wow flashing a custom kernel (elementalx) drastically improved the battery life on my nexus 5

Looks like I'm keeping this phone until the nexus 8 drops :lolbron:

Android update on my tablet sucks ass. Now when I see which apps are open, I can't long press to remove them from the list. Instead, it just tries to setup the dual app feature. How can I close out these apps? It wont let me

I will never forgive Evleaks for putting out that render...he still hasnt owned up and explained its origins.
That render is what got me interested in the M9.
If HTC put out that and combined the phone with a better camera I would've coped.
shyt was beautiful.

Maybe next year they'll have a similar design.

Think its S6 for me this year...the only thing Im iffy on is Battery life.
Im done with the budget phones(Moto G) and Im dropping some money on a flagship, I need an all ground good phone.

So, I'm rocking the HTC One M7. I was thinking of getting the M9, but the reviews got me uncertain as shyt. The lack of major difference/ UI from what I've got, along with them fukking everyone but China over with the M9+ is disappointing. I'm thinking of getting the S6, but I'm a little apprehensive knowing Samsung's sketchy record with updates, and hearing horror stories about their devices hitting :flabbynsick: status mad quick. Any ideas/advice on what the move should be?

Meet the Elephone P7000: 3 GB RAM, 5.5" 1080p display, 3450 mAh battery... for $230
Some of the smartphone's specifications include a Sony 13 MP rear camera, an eight-core 64 bit Mediatek MTK6752 SoC, as well as a healthy 3 GB of RAM to boot. A more detailed list of specifications is as follows:
  • MTK6752 SoC
  • 3GB of RAM
  • 16GB of storage (SD-card expandable)
  • 5.5" 1080p display
  • 3450 mAh battery
  • 13 MP F/2.0 rear camera, 5 MP front camera
  • LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, etc
At this point you're probably thinking "so what?" but there are a couple of things that make this phone really stand out. First of all is the ROM support: Elephone claims that the P7000 will support seven individual ROMs out of the box, including stock Android Lollipop, stock KitKat, Cyanogenmod, Xiaomi's MIUI, Meizu's Flyme OS, Huawei's EMUI, and Freeme OS. The second thing that makes it stand out is the price: the Elephone P7000 rings in at $229.99 for preorders, with the price being bumped up to around $240 when it finally launches.

I think you should get the M8, not the M9. The M8. The M8 is reportedly getting the Sense 7 update around summer time so the M9 is going to be a waste of extra money. S6 is gonna be lol worthy once the Note 5 comes out this fall so unless you like double edged small screens... M8.

Android has an IOS 8 Launcher as well, although you do have to download a bunch of apps on the side to make it seem very much like IOS

Yeah, the M8 is solid, but I've been putting off the upgrade since December knowing that the new phones would be out now.

And I've never been about the other random phones Samsung puts out like the Edge, or the Note series. By process of elimination (unless LG or Sony drop bombs), it looks like the S6 this time around. I'm really just disappointed the M9 wasn't some next level shyt.
