You're better off getting it off contract, and getting a prepaid plan that suits your needs.

I use the N4 as a back up and it's piff....if it had wifi calling I would probably use it as my main phone but everybody doesnt live in a dead zone like me and need wifi calling

Yes you should be able to. I did it all the time when I was under my parents family plan.

Ended up getting L9 from bestbuy for $200

Tmo would only sell it to me if I got a prepaid sim and activated(put money on) it

fukk I look like paying for a sim and buying minutes for it when I just told you im gonna use the phone for a line I already have on my account

nah don't care for the s4...only messing with nexus and that's it..but I think just going wait till next month when Verizon contract up and just go tmo pre paid...its cheaper for me

been playing with this nexus 4 since i got it at 6. i really noticed how clear and crisp the screen and icons are compared to the S3. the amoled used in the s3 looks like a vhs to this blu ray screen. the icons are so pixalated compared to the N4. love the phone so far. very happy with my purchase
