I'm considering copping a "n'used" (word to @Cockmeat Sandwich) Optimus G to take the place of my GNex on Sprint.
I'll miss the faster updates of course, but is this wise? Is it "easy" to put 4.2.1 at least on this thing (has 4.1.1 currently from looking at it in the Sprint Store).

Keep hearing the battery life on the nexus 4 is not all that good...I hope this is not tru my battery life on my gnex with a extended battery is so fukking horrible that I cant even keep my data on 3g or lte when im not using it

battery life is great...i went 10 hours without charge and i actually streaming all day at work. check to see which app messes up the performance of the phone and in no coverage area out the phone in airplane mode. keep an extra charger handy just in case but you wont need it
Always have a extra charger on deck since pocket PC days lol
